When did you start your Etsy shop?

What is the story behind your business name?
When I was trying to come up with a name for my shop, I wrote down a list of words that I wanted my shop to embody. These included: fun, stylish, colorful, etc. The list also included "Elegant" and "Quirky," and ElegantQuirk was born! I like the idea of my shop having something for everyone, whether your style is more elegant and sophisticated, or fun and quirky.
What do you sell?
I sell key racks and jewelry holders mainly. I also have confetti in my shop, and have recently started some art blocks.
How did you get into your craft?
Thanks to my mom, I have been crafty all my life. This particular craft came about in February 2012, when I was in between jobs for a few months. When I don't work, I tend to get extra crafty. I had made myself a jewelry holder, and loved it. My boyfriend gave me the extra push to see if I could sell it on Etsy. We thought I might sell a couple. I never imagined I would be where I am today!
