Shop Handmade Goody Bags

I was sitting browsing through the forums and team posts on Etsy and post after post shop owners were frustrated about the lack of sales and the issues with not being able to stand out in the pack. I have been featuring an Etsy shop a day here on the blog but I wanted to go one step further.

I have found when I'm doing craft shows or Farmer's Markets that you don't make many sales but it is great to network. I decided that I would pass out goody bags filled with 20-30 Etsy shops. I’m doing the market from May to August each Saturday. It is going to be a total of 18 weeks and my goal is to hand out 100 goody bags each weekend.

So I decided to go one step further. I started a team on Etsy called Shop Handmade Goody Bags so other shops would learn about the goody bags and start handing out the goody bags at craft shows, markets, and even include them in the orders they ship out. If you have an Etsy shop and would like to join you can click here

If you have an Etsy shop and would like to contribute business cards and/or samples to my goody bags you can find out more info by visiting the Shop Handmade Goody Bags Etsy team or you can contact me through my Etsy shop Gone to the Dogs. My goody bags will be 4"x6". Business cards, business cards with a coupon for your shop, or small samples will work best. You do not have to send something for all 1800 bags. You can send anywhere from 100-1800 items for my goody bags. I look forward to promoting your Etsy shop!

    1. Yep there is some groups even doing it for home businesses that aren't handmade. I wanted to do something more for Etsy shops beyond the blog and this is what I came up with. I'm hoping it helps shops. If I get 20 shops to do it each weekend by the end of the 18 weeks I will have passed out 36,000 business cards.
